Payments pending with bank after failed card payments

Sometimes using a card will result in an error message. This can be for numerous reasons. But the card transaction has failed and we will not receive any money from your bank. 


However, customers tell us that sometimes the money is shown as either pending or debited from their account. In our experience the money has not left your account and will be returned to to it shortly. Your bank or credit card company ring fence some money in your account to allow payment. However, when payment fails the money remains ring fenced even though it doesn't ever actually come to our account. 


We advise people to wait for a day and if there are any problems to drop us a support email and we can check it out for you. 


If your order has not gone through then we will never take money from you. You are also ok to try and order again as we will only take money for the successful card transaction.
